wow i cannot beleive im reading this. Seriously If you get one these bik as your first bike… your going to get seriously hurt, and thats if your lucky. honestly and riding in the city a sportsbike isnt what you want get say a 250 or 500 first or f you HAVE to wave your willy around then get an fz6. but seriously sportsbikes… ahh screw it if your that dumb to even consider a bike like the ones your talking about then screw it let natural selection take its course

your right im not gonna get that busa it does look like an uncomfortable bike and im gonna be in the city alot i driven bikes b4 but not consistently i think my best bet is the gsxr 1000 or r1 im getting a loan under my sisters name and shes very skeptical about it i had to beg her lol i have bad credit my mother ruined it for me lol but hope all is well thanks for the input brother appreciate it

First of all it’s hard to be stuck with your first bike (cases in which you are satisfied with it are very rare because o it’s attributes. ex: i had a chopper and now i’m buying a transalp- enduro and later this year i’ll have a fz6-naked). Second, if you don’t have enough experience, the hayabusa will rip your insides because of it’s ergonomy (not the most comfortable bike in the world at all) and for it’s power.

You won’t keep your first bike forever.

The best thing to do is to buy a 250 or 500, ride it for a year or two, get good on it, then sell it and move up.

As Suzuki’s site says, the Busa is for experienced riders. People who don’t ride bikes, have no clue how much they don’t know about riding. Just like getting a Ferrari, as your first car, it’s a very fast performance car, which means it is really twitchy. Things happen really fast when you want to turn or accelerate, which is what you want as an experienced driver. For the inexperienced, you will end up crashing into a tree, on a Busa, you’ll hit a tree or car, but you will probably die.

i have an 08 bysa now and you take off those huge cans and you be suprise how good it handles for heavy bike. still not as good as liter bikes.

The reputation of this bike being an unwieldy beast is unfounded. I was amazed at how this thing swims through corners.
And once you’re on a straight, you’re gone!

I love how at the beginning he mentions its awesome ability to go around corners. Please! This bike feels like dead weight going around corners; it’s way to heavy to corner with the smaller bikes.

a r1 is a nice bike but it will never be in the same class as a busa if a busa is a senior in college then a r1 is a sophomore in high school!
