In order to fly choppers in the Navy?

Do i have to fly airplane as well in order to fly choppers.
Will I have to learn like upside down maneuvers and things while learning to fly.

You’ll be trained in a T-34 at first, and yes, those things do upside down maneuvers (some of them aren’t hard at all)

You will originally learn in an airplan(T38 or T6, depending on the training station), but then you will move to small, then "big" helicopters.

You have to be commissioned and apply for flight school.

After initial flight training, based on class ranking, you get to decide what aircraft you transition into.

IE: the best go to fighters, everyone else has to take whats left.

You will be trained to fly a fixed wing aircraft you won’t see a helo until you get to advanced training.
