i’m working on a project for my japanese class and i discovered Japanese street racing. However, most of the street racing is about cars, but my project is about motorcycles. So do street racers in Japan use modified cars more than they do motorcycles like Suzuki/Yamaha?
Thank-you!
It’s just as it is here in the US. There’s a market for both, but the market for street racing with cars is more popular and less dangerous. The only thing different is they’re more into drifting than drag racing.

I know there’s this new Japanese motorcycle that came out this year. At least I think it’s Japanese and it came out this year, I’m not 100% sure. Anyways, it has a body that covers the whole thing like a car does, but it still have 2 wheels like a motorcycle. Can anyone tell me what this new vehicle is called?
In the 80′s there was the Quasar built in England.

BMW introduced the C1 almost 10 years ago.

Benelli introduced the Adiva a couple of years after the c1.

Peraves has been building the ECOMOBIL since the 90′s.

None of these was successful.
But you are probably thinking of the Honda Elysium concept.

I don’t know the exact law in Australia, but most countries will let you drive with a foreign licence for a limited time.
If you are living there for any length of time, you need to redo your test.
I would check with the relevant Australian driving authority to double check though.

I have a few motorcycles, and i was just curious of what the book value would be on them. But i can not find any information on the web to value them. I have found that local dealers seem to go very shy on evaluating or because of the age of the bike, they cant provide an answer.
I have three bikes, 1992 Kawasaki , 1984 Honda and a 1969 Honda
Ive seen some comments about a mystery ‘blue book’ Or the Kelly book.. but only appears to deal with cars, from what ive found
NADA is from 1995 onwards lol
If you are in the U.S. check Nada or Kelly.
If you are in the U.K., check Parkers, C.A.P. or Glasses.

If I’ve been riding dirtbikes avidly for several years now, and have a good command of them, what types of sportbikes should I look into for the street? I’m planning on taking an MSF class soon, and getting all the right gear, etc. I’ve been intruiged by some 900cc Buells, and some 600cc+ japanese sportbikes, but I’m wondering if I’d hae any trouble with these. Obviously, I want to stay in one piece, but I also don’t want to get bored quickly with my motorbike – I’m sure you bikers understand. Given the number of hours i’ve spent on a dirtbike, would you say to go ahead and get a non-’beginner’ bike?
I to started on dirt bikes. Then my buddie who taught me to ride bought a street bike a Suz. GSXR 600. I saw it and heard and a week later i had a street bike to. I went Suz Katana 750. Now you might think that is kind of big for the first street bike but it was a Can"o"tuna mind you. The bike had short gears and was a sport touring bike not a superbike. It waqs fast enough and it could turn well but u couldnt really lean into like you can with the 600 jap bikes. After 2 seasons I was bored with it though and come the 3rd season i rode it only 3 times. And coincedently this past saturday i bought my dreambike from my old boss The RC51 RVT racing bike from honda and im pumped about it. Well what i wanna say is that u should be fine in what ever you choose i think that dirt riding is a great prep for the street. You have to think when your offroad constanly. its easy to ride the street and daydream when riding. Think of when your driving and not paying attention it happenes the same way on a bike, but when off raod you have to constanly up-shift/down-shift and find the right line etc. I gurantee you this will transfer to the street insticntively. Just stay away from the 1000s until your good with the 600 or 750s. The 1000 cc bikes tend to make a rider feel better then he is cuz they r made so well, then the rider gets cocky and tries to lean a turn going 130 mph and crashes. Get the 600cc jap bike you will be fine. Stay Away From Buells they are Dogs. By dogs I mean they are slow as shit. You will get bored of the Buell in 1 season.

Have the Japanese already found the SSGT guilty of rape on Okinawa? If not, why then are our Military on their knees saying how sorry they are that this happend? And why did a 14 year old school Girl get on the back of a strangers motorcycle for a ride home, then go into his house, and then get into his Van? Is there a lot more to this story?
It’s happened many times before. Every few years there’s a report of a sex crime near the American base in Okinawa. Many of the locals hate the fact that there’s a base there and it brings the whole American/Japanese relationship into question. Generally there are three main anti-western groups in Japan. People who remember the war and the Tokyo fire bombings, the far right and those who have become disillusioned by the effects of the Okinawa base.

Last month in Japan a few americans pulled a rope and made a japanese motorcyclist crash. It was a major story and I can’t find it now. Does anyone know where I can find an article about it?
I know what story you’re talking about. Here’s the link:
