2 months after I’m here without my bike because Yamaha says (NOW???????) this kit is no longer produced….. There is another kit for the new model (from 2008, my bike was produced in 2007) but they don’t know if is compatible (they don’t know……Mah…. I don’t think that is something difficult to check… But unfortunately I live in Italy….You know: pizza-mafia-mandolino-Silvio…I apologise with you for my culture….).

I’m quite desperate and I really don’t know where I could crash my head…

My questions are:
-Have you got the same restrictions?
-Do you think that an english kit is compatible with my Italian motorcycle?
-Could I buy it from England?

The 25kw (or 33bhp over here) restriction for two years after passing your test applies to all E.U., countries.

The restrictor kits should be all the same.

If you can find a dealer in the U.K. with one in stock to fit an ’07 MT-03, I’m sure they would sell it to you.

You can practice shooting one at a firing range, but you cannot own one. You must be a citizen or a resident alien to obtain a gun license in the US.
